Tunisia for Desert Foxes

Lots of sand and fun

DIFFICULTY:: Hard

This is fantastic fun in the desert for off-road fans with some experience.
You are going by plane and we will carry the bikes. After the arrival in Tozeur you will start the tour crossing the Chott el Jerid, the salt lake that separates Tozeur from Douz. It's a fascinating journey, which requires maximum concentration and demand from the pilots a demonstration of their strength.
From here we head into the desert south to the lake lost. Three days of dunes and more dunes, searching our own way following the sun and GPS , leaving footprints in the untouched sand.

Tourplan
Day 1 Flight to Tunis and Tozeur. Meeting point. Delivery of bikes. Hotel overnight
Day 2 Tozeur to Douz crossing Chott el Jerid. Hotel overnight
Day 3, 4 and 5 Exit south from Douz into the desert. Three days of pure desert. Spectacular tent nights under the stars of  Sahara night.Pure desert.  Arrival at the hidden lake and swim in its warm waters.
Day 6 Back to civilization in Douz. Hotel accommodation and long shower.
Day 7 Drive to Tozeur and flight to Tunis, where we will visit this fascinating city.
Day 8 Spare day and flight back home

We provide
Accommodation in double room and half board in hotels, in the the desert all meals from the truck kitchen, transfers,bike  transport from Mieres, Girona to Tozeur and return, transport of luggage in CdB truck, mechanical assistance, assistance for border procedures, permission and local guide in areas where necessary, tour guide Christoph del Bondio , GPS coordinates, orientation course, riding  lesson  for sand, gift reminder.
